Omar Olumee
Omar Olumee is an Afghan-American and a founding member of CUSAP. Professionally he is a Sr. Consultant on the Business Systems Integration team in Deloitte & Touche’s Public Services Business Unit. His background has led him to provide technical evaluations and recommendations for software and hardware in military health services, and web applications for the Department of Homeland Security.
Background
- Early career was as a systems analysts and programmer for MCI Corporation and subsequently Apple Computer.
- From June 2000 – April 2001, Mr. Olumee consulted Xpedior as a developer in a financial applications that supported a complex security models.
- As a consultant at Electronic Data Systems from May 2001 – September 2007, Mr. Olumee was in a three-tier e-Enterprise application which is to facilitate timely reporting and monitoring of international students and exchange visitors in the United States.
- Today he is a Deloitte & Touche, Senior Consultant, working on TRICARE Management Activity, Defense Health Information Systems Program Office for the TMIP-J project supporting Military Health Services.
